On December 29, 2023, a “Hybrid workshop series on Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) with emphasis on three pillars (III); practice on smart city” aimed at raising awareness of Sustainable Development, Smart City, and inter-faculty collaboration was held In this workshop, the environmental expert, Prof. Dr. Hüseyin Gökçekuş (Dean of the Faculty of Civil and Environmental Engineering), the economic expert, Prof. Dr. Şerife Zihni Eyüpoğlu (Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences), and the social expert, Prof. Dr. Aşkın Kiraz (Head of Environmental Education and Management Department) spoke about related SDGs and their connection with the smart city. Finally, Farhad Bolouri (Doctoral Research Assistant; Faculty of Civil and Environmental Engineering) talked about the smart cities that were ranked first in every SDG as an example. This workshop was related to all the SDGs, specially SDG11.
