Geride bıraktığımız 2022-2023 Güz Döneminde fakültemiz İnşaat Mühendisliği Türkçe ve İngilizce Bölüm Birincileri mezuniyet töreninden sonra dekanımız Prof. Dr. Hüseyin Gökçekuş tarafından tebrik edildi ve mezunlarımızın mezuniyetlerine dair düşünceleri soruldu.

İnşaat Mühendisliği Türkçe Bölüm Birincisi Muhammed Cengizhan Koyuncu ve İnşaat Mühendisliği İngilizce Bölüm Birincisi Ibrahim Mohamed Baishe’nin mesajları şöyle;

 

Saygıdeğer Hocalarım Kıymetli Arkadaşlarım,

Fakülte de geçirdiğim süre boyunca hem akademik hem sosyal destekleriniz için teşekkür ederim. Nihayet hayatımızın önemli kilometre taşlarından birini tamamladık. Bugün kendimi hem gururlu hem hüzünlü hem de sevinçli hissediyorum. Burada ki eğitimimi, öğrendiğim dersleri ve biriktirdiğim anıları hiçbir zaman unutmayacağım. Mesleğimi bana kattıklarınız doğrultusunda en güzel şekilde uygulamaya çalışacağım.

Ailemizin yaşadığımız hayatı bize yaşatması hiçbir zaman kolay olmadı, bizim için de kolay olmayacak. Umarım tüm arkadaşlarım da ne kadar şanslı olduğumuzun farkına varmıştır ve her zaman bir sonraki hedef için daha çok çabalarız. Tüm arkadaşlarıma ve bizden sonraki arkadaşlarıma, kardeşlerime de bundan sonraki eğitim hayatlarında başarılar diler saygılarımı sunarım.

I am honoured and privileged to graduate from the NEAR EAST UNIVERSITY Department of Civil Engineering in the 2022/2023 Fall Semester. It has been a wonderful journey 4 years in the Department. I want to thank to the Faculty members led by the Dean Prof. Dr. Hüseyin Gökçekuş who ensured that we are equipped with the technical knowledge and skills to come up with Infrastructural solutions.
I would also like to acknowledge and give special thanks to my parents for supporting me during this 4 year journey.

Learning in Near East University Civil Engineering Department has been an honour and a wonderful experience for me because the department incorporates technology and practical having a modern Civil engineering Laboratory which gives us students a glimpse of what to encounter as we progress as Civil Engineers thus having innovative and creative ideas to tackle any kind of problem during our life as Engineers.

Being an International Student from the Republic of Kenya, graduating from the Near East University will be give me an opportunity to showcase the different technical skills to come up with modern civil structures as we solve the climate change problem in our world.
Being a Civil Engineer is not just a profession. It is a calling to human aid because as civil engineers, our work to the society is valuable and we should maintain the highest integrity both morally, professionally and structurally.

I would like to take this opportunity to congratulate my fellow graduates and wish them all the best as they embark on their new adventures and urge them that if an opportunity does not knock they should build a door.
