On May 24, 2023, a hybrid workshop aimed at raising awareness of Sustainable Development and inter-faculty collaboration was held for two hours about Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) with emphasis on three Pillars (Economy, Environment, and Society) and considering what can be done on the university campus to achieve them with the participation of graduate students, lecturers, and other interested parties. In this workshop, the environmental expert, Prof. Dr. Hüseyin Gökçekuş (Dean of the Faculty of Civil and Environmental Engineering), the economic expert, Prof. Dr. Şerife Zihni Eyüpoğlu (Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences), and the social expert, Prof. Dr. Aşkın Kiraz (Head of Environmental Education and Management Department) spoke about related SDGs. Then Farhad Bolouri (Doctoral Research Assistant; Faculty of Civil and Environmental Engineering) presented the related examples from different universities based on global rankings. In the end, the participants were asked to define their planning for research and practical activities in the field of 17 SDGs. This workshop was related to all the SDGs, specially SDG4.
