On September 25, 2023, AlphaZULU Advocates UK and the Centre for Social Sensitivity and Action, Goa Institute of Management India jointly hosted the SDG Nugget Hour. This event also celebrated the 8th anniversary of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. In perhaps what could be the shortest virtual real-time global stakeholder voices gathering across continents, the SDG Nugget Hour brings together SDG Advocates and Practitioners from different countries, on a monthly basis, to advocate, showcase, educate, inform and/or advise about the SDGs. Each speaker makes a presentation on one SDG in 1 minute, sharing succinct views on progress and/or challenges to accelerating the SDGs in the Decade of Action based on their work/lived experience or country context. Speakers are selected through an open public call. In this event, Prof. Dr. Hüseyin Gökçekuş (Dean of the Faculty of Civil and Environmental Engineering) was talking about SDG6 (Clean Water and Sanitation for All) and Farhad Bolouri (Doctoral Research Assistant; Faculty of Civil and Environmental Engineering) was talking about SDG 14 (Life Below Water).
